How to use Free Website Submission Services

After you have built your website the next natural step is to start promoting it. You can start with submitting your site to the various search engines and directories.

For those of you who either have a site now or are planning to have one in the future, you will of course want your site to be listed in the search engine index and directories.

You will thus need to decide if you want to submit your site to each individual search engine and directory by hand, pay a submission service to do it for you, buy site submission software, or use one of the free submission services on the internet.

Submitting to each individual search engine and directory by hand is relatively easy to do and yet can be time consuming and a bit tedious. If you decide to go this route, you just visit each site and look for the “Add URL” or “add website” link which is generally at the top or bottom of each site. Then simply click the button and add your website, using the full address or URL(Uniform Resource Locator). In certain instances you might have to add a title, description and other information. For the directories such as Yahoo and the DMOZ, you will be required to visit the relevant category first. Be thoughtful to select the right category. If you pay a submission service to do this for you they can save you a lot of time and will usually do a slightly better job with the keywords and descriptions based on their know-how. If you choose to do it yourself, a good place to start is directoryguide dot com and searchenginecolossus dot com.

Another method is to buy software like Submit Wolf if you are submitting a single site. I personally do not really recommend this software since it is somewhat expensive and time consuming for a novice to learn. If you have an older computer this software will chew up plenty of resources while it is running and slow down your computer considerably. On the positive side it does submit to a sizeable number of sites. This can boost your page rank or popularity. That leaves us with the freebie submission services that exist around the net. There are at least several of them available that are good. The way it works is you fill out 1 form and the service submits that site data to all the search engines and directories on it’s list. I do not recommend using them if your whole business is built around your site, but for many sites they are adequate. The problem is that some search engines block these automated submissions automatically(they want you to visit their site in person so you can view ads), and they are ineffective for most directories which require that you navigate to the pertinent category first. Also, each engine allows a differing amount of keywords and requires different types of information. Some of the more popular services include submitexpress.com, which will submit your site to 40 search engines for free, addme.com which will submit your site to Google, Subjex, Alexa, Scrub The Web, FAST Search AllTheWeb, LookSeek, ExactSeek, Jayde, and a few others for free, addpro.com submits to 20+ top search engines using an automatic service that is easy to use, and quickregister.net which will submit your site to the major engines and directories if you put a small text link on your site. If you go to ez2www.com there is a freebie site submission service there if you click “add url” at the bottom of the page. There are other free submission sites out there. Just go to your favorite search engine and type in “free search engine submission” and you will be presented with a list of such freebies.

What is a Probate Court?

Probate court is the division of the court that usually deals with estates, wills, and the assets left behind when a person dies. Probate court records are extensive and full of interesting information not only about the people you deal with everyday, but also about people that lived before you were born.

If you are interested in researching your family roots, a perusal of probate court records will prove to be invaluable. Probate court records can tell you all the things about your great grandparents that your own parents might not have known. You can often learn about marriages, divorces, and even lawsuits that they may have been involved in. Probate court records deal with your ancestors’ estates and that could help you in your research by giving you clues to properties that your family owned. Once you have the information about property that probate court records provide, you can start to search census reports that you would have never found. Probate court records can sometimes tell you if any of your family members were adopted or ever went under different names.

Probate court records are more than just a way to research the past. The information contained in probate court records can be put to use in your everyday life. With a quick search through probate court records, you can learn exactly what your rich great aunt left to your parents, who the executor of her will was, and how much money she really had. You can even research if the will was contested and who it was contested by.

Probate court records can help you to learn the truth about someone when you think that they are being less than forward with information. If you are suspicious about the claims of someone you just met, a search through probate court records could confirm your suspicions. A simple search of a few probate court documents could tell you everything you need to know about an inheritance that someone claims to have received. It can also give you information about the exact contents of an estate, or the exact dimensions of a property you are considering for purchase.

You can even search through probate court records to find out if someone has ever gone by a different name or who their family members are. A will often names many members of a family as beneficiaries, so researching probate court records could give you clues to family members you didn’t know a person had.

Probate court keeps extensive records of information that is not only interesting, but could prove to be very valuable. When you are looking for background information on an individual, probate court records are a great place to begin your search.

Credit Cards - Why Are They So Popular?

Credit cards have ballooned in popularity over the last decade. While once the preserve of the very rich, or very indebted, they are now available to practically everyone who wants them. They have become far easier to get a hold of. There is also a huge variety of choice out there for anyone who wants a credit card.

Different Types of Credit Cards

There are exclusive cards that offer their holders a huge array of benefits in exchange for a fee. But there are also cards that carry no subscription fee, give zero per cent on balance transfers and sometimes on purchases to for a certain period and offer quite competitive rates after that.

Increasing Demand

The credit card industry has experienced a massive amount of competition in recent years. Not only have a huge number of new players entered the market, but with the growth of store cards and debit cards, the traditional credit card providers have had to vastly improve the terms on which they do business with customers. This means that customers have more choice and better offers than ever before and this is also fuelling the demand for more credit cards.

Foreign Travel

Credit cards are becoming increasingly popular for people who frequently travel abroad. Rather than carry traveller’s cheques or a host of currencies around with them, they simply take a credit card. This can be used to pay almost anywhere in the world, and even when this becomes difficult, you can still use your credit card in a local bank machine to take out cash in whatever currency you need. Of course credit cards will charge a fee for all of this, but increasingly, as these fees become more competitive, customers are deciding that the fees are well worth the convenience and reliability that they offer while abroad. They are also very secure and if lost or stolen, can be cancelled quickly and easily.

Shopping Online

Online shopping has been another reason for the growth in popularity of credit cards and one of the main advantages to younger shoppers who are buying more and more goods and services online. From flights, to car rental bookings, to books and cds, shoppers would find it increasingly difficult to make such purposes if they did not have a credit card.

Consumer Debt

All of these benefits are what is leading to the phenomenal growth in the popularity of credit cards, but this is also leading to a serious problem of debt. The economy is in dire straits mainly due to consumer debt and with the lure of credit within everyone’s easy reach the problem looks set to increase. Only a massive swing in consumer attitude could change this problem without the intervention of the government. The Bank of England in fact is, at the time of writing, contemplating another increase in the base interest rate in an attempt to curb further spending.

Therefore, anyone considering taking out a new credit card should check the terms and conditions carefully and find out if they can afford it or not.

Impotence - Disorder or a Disease

In a man’s world there seems to be some sort of gross ignorance to the word ‘impotence’. Couples who have been trying to conceive for some time now might just try to evade this but it has been seen that relationship woes might arise due to sexual dysfunction in men. A study conducted by Boston University School of Medicine observed 1300 men aged 40 and 70, after studying their medical history, and found 52% of them facing male impotence had something to do with the general condition of their health.

Treatment of impotence

Today with technological breakthrough in the field of medicine, treating erectile dysfunction in men is no longer an issue. Urologists specializing in the functioning of kidney, bladder, prostate, penis and urethra are the right kind of people to approach for a cure of impotency. The treatment might vary from oral medication to implants or surgery etc. depending on the severity of the problem.

How does one know that he is facing impotency?

Almost all men fail occasionally to get an erection some time or the other. This is a normal situation as our fast paced lives tend to get stressful at times. However, if the erectile dysfunction seems to bother 25% of the time then one should seek medical help as it might be a case of male impotence. Men who face ED must know that they should not neglect the persisting problem and must consult a doctor as soon as possible rather than wait passively.

Impotency is not a disease!

The penis is a vascular organ which requires exercise. A healthy male will normally experience 3 to 4 erections during their sleep which may last an hour or more. During sexual stimulation blood flows through the several blood vessels leading to the penis the nerve endings prompt an erection. However, if it’s a case of male impotency this would not happen and erection would fail. This is a disorder in the functioning of penis which might be due to various reasons whether physiological or even psychological or due to some addiction like smoking and alcoholism.

Viagra and male impotency

Viagra burst the scene as a cure for male impotency. Lots of men who still consider buying Viagra online tend to escape going to a doctor to face an uncomfortable subject as this. However, this love pill though does magic to sustaining an erection during intercourse but fails to cure the root of the problem. Reports of death caused due to indiscriminate usage of Viagra without a doctor’s consultation has sure caused alarm worldwide.

Viagra is not meant for all men

An active ingredient called sidenafil citrate in Viagra is not suitable for men facing heart problems, hypertension, low blood pressure and other health complication which can only be confirmed by a doctor prescribing Viagra. Heart patients using nitroglycerine or nitrate-based drugs must not take Viagra as the mix might bring a deadly dip in blood pressure. Men with sickle cell anemia, leukemia or multiple myeloma should avoid the intake of this drug as it can permanently damage the penis.

Conclusion

50% to 60% of oral treatments like Viagra from Pfizer Pharnaceuticals have the largest share in US market. But the demand for Viagra is slowing down due to safe herbal options like shilajit, ashwagandha etc. available in the market.

But it always advisable to consult urologists for complete solution to the problem safely and as painlessly as possible.

Perfect Lawns, is it worth it?

Have you ever been driving down the road with the windows open going past a golf course or a field and then you get a strange smell? A chemical type of odor? Or go walking in the country and notice a large area, usually a field, all brown with dead grass. And next to it, alive green grasses and shrubs? Chances are you smell a herbicide being used or you are seeing what it can do to vegetation.

Then you start to wonder. Are those chemicals getting into the water table? Is wildlife eating the “treated” vegetation and insects tainted with the chemicals? Or maybe we are taking in the toxins and not even realizing it. It could possibly be in the foods we eat, the air we are breathing everyday or the water that we are drinking.

DDT is a colorless contact insecticide that is very toxic. It became banned in the early 1970’s. Gaylord Nelson, a great environmentalist while in office in the state of Wisconsin diliengtly worked to get DDT banned in Wisconsin.

DDT even though restricted is still used in Mexico to control malaria. The National Institute of Public Health of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico concluded from a study that the use of DDT has been linked to breast cancer in Mexico. In another study done by the University of Michigan, it was found that chemical factory workers that made DDT also had a high risk of pancreatic cancer from the overexposure of DDT. Unfortunately, DDT is still being manufactured and used in tropical areas for malaria control.

Below are some of the herbicides used today. This is not a complete listing of all of the herbicides on the market. The short term and long term side effects is based that the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) goes over a certain marker for parts per billion (ppb) in the water. For example Simazine is 4 ppb or 4 parts per billion in drinking water.

Simazine:
Common Trade names: Herbazine, Herbex, Surflan
General Uses: Corn Crops, Christmas Trees
Amount Used Annually: 4.8 billion pounds estimated in 1985
Short Term health Effects: weight loss, changes in blood
Long Term Health Effects: tremors, damage to testes, kidneys, liver, thyroid, cancer
Ground Water Implications: It may leach to ground water. It can last from a few months to years.
(EPA Consumer Fact Sheet)

Picloram:
Common Trade names: Agent White, Tordon
General Uses: Control annual weeds
Amount Used Annually: 300,000 pounds estimated in 1982
Short Term health Effects: weight loss, damage to the nervous system
Long Term Health Effects: liver damage
Ground Water Implications: It may leach to ground water. It can last from a few months to years
(EPA Consumer Fact Sheet)

Glyphosate:
Common Trade names: Roundup, Sonic, Rodeo, Tumbleweed,
General Uses: Used on many food crops and roadsides
Amount Used Annually: 18.7 million pounds recently
Short Term health Effects: congestion of the lungs, increases breathing rate
Long Term Health Effects: kidney damage, reproductive effects
Ground Water Implications: It strongly adheres to the soil with little potential for leaching to ground water.
(EPA Consumer Fact Sheet)

Endothall:
Common Trade names:Accelerate, Endothall Turf Herbicide, Herbicide 273,
General Uses: Used on many food crops and control aquatic weeds
Amount Used Annually: 1.5 million pounds in 1982
Short Term health Effects: depressed breathing and increase heart rate
Long Term Health Effects: increase size of some organs.
Ground Water Implications: It can leach through the soil into the ground water.
(EPA Consumer Fact Sheet)

Dinoseb:
Common Trade names:Dow Selective Weed Killer, Hel-fire, Caldon, Knox-weed, Premerge,
General Uses: used for cereal crops
Amount Used Annually: 6.2 million pounds in 1982
Short Term health Effects: sweating, mood swings, headache
Long Term Health Effects: decreased body and thyroid weight, degeneration of testes,.
Ground Water Implications: It can leach through the soil into the ground water. Degrades very slowly.
(EPA Consumer Fact Sheet)

Atrazine:
Common Trade names:Aatex, Candex, Atred, Cyazin, Griffex Primatol,
General Uses: used for corn and soybean crops
Amount Used Annually: No figures are known, 2nd highest herbicide used
Short Term health Effects: congestion of the heart, lungs, and kidneys, low blood pressure, muscle spasms, weight loss, damage to adrenal glands
Long Term Health Effects: weight loss, cardiovascular damage, retinal and muscle degeneration, and cancer
Ground Water Implications: It can leach through the soil into the ground water. Degrades very slowly. Very powerful herbicide.
(EPA Consumer Fact Sheet)

Taking in consideration that municipalities have their water tested on a regular basis, this does not take into account the urban and rural areas with its own private wells. Generally that is where a lot of herbicide is used for crops. Also in the city locations one has to take in account the air you breathe.

How Important Is The B12 Vitamin To Your Health?

Cobalamin or more commonly known as the B12 vitamin is one of the most important nutrients w need in order for our bodies to maintain a normal and healthy daily rhythm. You may not be aware of this but the B12 vitamin is the essential mineral needed to form energy by processing the fats, proteins and carbohydrates we absorb from the food we consume in our daily diet. Another primary function of the B12 vitamin is to help prevent heart disease and keep our immunity system functioning at the optimum level of protection from illness and disease. It does this by keeping our red blood cells healthy and free from impurities. The B12 vitamin is also charged with the responsibility of covering the nerves running through our bodies with a protective shell.

Many specialists consider the formation of healthy red blood cells as the most important function of the B12 vitamin. Truthfully, all of the body’s cells need B12 in order to stay healthy. In particular, the white blood cell is dependant on the B12 vitamin for assistance in keeping our immune system functioning properly and effectively. As mentioned earlier the nerve structure of the body relies on the B12 vitamin to form an outer layer of fatty tissue for a protective covering. This fatty layer is important for all of the nerves running through our bodies but it is extremely critical to the nerves that run to the brain. If for some reason there is a deficiency on our B12 vitamin reserves then it’s quite possible that the brain can stop functioning properly.

Fortunately the amount of B12 vitamin we need to function properly on a daily basis is a relatively small amount and with our ability to readily absorb it from eggs, liver, meat and fish we normally have enough available on a daily basis. In fact, in many cases we actually consume more B12 then we actually need. Normally our body will absorb about 50% of the B12 vitamin that we consume and any excess left over after its use is easily recycled helping to prevent a vitamin B12 deficiency from happening. On a side note - Vegetarians may be required to take a B12 vitamin supplement since they may not absorb enough of the mineral through their normal diet minus any meat or animal products.

If on the off chance the body does indeed suffer form a vitamin B12 shortage then a condition known as anaemia, which is a deficiency of red blood cells normally leading to a severe lack of oxygen-carrying ability in the blood cells causing unusual tiredness and other lethargic symptoms. Two prime candidates for this type of deficiency include smaller children, based on their erratic diet and therefore lack of the proper amount of the B12 vitamin supplement and pregnant women due to their unborn child’s absorption of B12 from the mother.

As you can see the importance of the B12 vitamin can’t be stressed enough. Although easy to absorb from the consumption of food an improper diet could result in a deficiency that could prove hazardous to your health and daily living.

Executive Coaching - Finding a Coach and Understanding the Process

Nobody in business can fail to have noticed the recent rise in the number of coaches and consultants offering their services. But how do you go about finding a coach who will give you a return on your investment? Executive coaching might be an option for you if you are running your own business or are in an employed management role, and have aspirations to achieve more.

I would advise you to initially identity an executive coach through recommendation, or by conducting your own research on the web or in trade publications, and then request a free session to ask questions and find out more about them. Most coaches will give you some time without charge at the outset to discuss what your objectives are in beginning coaching, and to establish whether there is sufficient compatibility between you.

If there does not seem to be a connection, or if the coach feels someone else can help you more, they will refer you on to someone who is more appropriate. Only commit if you feel excited and relaxed about working with that individual - if there are any doubts, go with your intuition. We are all different and what works for your friend or colleague may not work as well for you.

You will be asked to commit to an agreed period of coaching, not to protect the coach’s income, but to give the process a fair chance of taking effect. The period will vary from coach to coach, and will depend to some extent on what you are wishing to achieve. You may find you are getting cold feet once you have committed to coaching, and feeling nervous or negative about the outcome. This is entirely natural and will disappear once you have embarked on your regular sessions.

You and your coach will decide on specific goals to be attained, but don’t worry if you have none at the start of coaching, as they will soon become evident as you think about what you want to achieve in life. Often our goals shift anyway, as we learn more about ourselves and what we want, rather than what society wants for us. You will be expected to spend time between sessions on accomplishing the goals you have set with your coach and on reporting back to them so they are prepared for the next session.

An executive coach is a sounding board who allows you to understand your own strengths and realise where your comfort zone ends and how to move beyond it. It is like having a conversation with a friend who has only your interests at heart and who can contribute to your development in a completely detached way. A friend who has no emotional investment in you staying the same and will be purely delighted, and not at all threatened, if you start to achieve more of your goals.

As a coaching client, you will be required to be open and honest with your coach and tell them what you feel is and is not working. In order for executive coaching to really make a difference to you, you must be willing to look at yourself as objectively as possible and not become defensive or upset if it becomes apparent that some of your current behaviour is not the best response to the situation you find yourself in.

You will need to be able to change your behaviour in some circumstances to see if an alternative works better. You should also be prepared for changes throughout your life and not just at work - we do not operate in boxes, and a change in one area of your life will have a knock-on effect in others. You may well find family and friends remarking on the changes in you.

Try to be as open-minded as you can about executive coaching and what it may bring you. Many people are pleasantly surprised by the fundamental improvements it can help bring about at work and home.

Aldous Huxley - was he influenced by Hindu Mythology?

Aldous Huxley was a great story teller and author of the highly acclaimed novel, Brave New World. Widely read, it came as no surprise to analyse his novel and conclude that perhaps, he was influenced by some ideas and theories depicted in Hindu Mythology. In particular, there are two things that this novel, Brave New World and Hindu Mythology have in common - the caste system and soma.

The novel is set in the future and in the world created by Huxley, World Controllers rule to ensure the stability of society. To do this, they have a five-tiered caste system. The ruling castes are the Alphas and Betas. The labour force comes from the lower three castes, known as Gammas, Deltas, and Epsilons. The members of these castes are also denoted by their colour; for example, the Aphas and Betas are generally quite fair. The Deltas are green and finally the Epsilons are black.

Hindu Mythology consists mainly of two great epics, one of which is The Mahabharat. In this epic, one discovers that in Hindu culture, there exists four castes arranged in a hierarchy. The highest caste is that of the Brahman. Members of this castes are priests and the educated people of the society. Next, are the Kshatria, whose members are rulers and aristocrats of society. Then come the Vaisa - the landlords and businessmen of society. Sudra are the last of this system and they are the peasants and working class of the society who work in non-polluting jobs. There is one further group of people who are called the outcasts and often referred to as ‘the untouchable’ These untouchables worked as cleaners of night soil and so on. According to Hindu Mythology, a form of colour coding in their clothing is used to identify the members of each caste - it is said that the brahmins are fair, the kshatriyas are reddish, the vaishyas yellow and the sudras are black.

In Brave New World, soma, a drug is dispensed to the people regularly to ensure that no one ever feels pain or remains unhappy. Social stability is further ensured through the use of pre- and post-natal conditioning.

In Hindu mythology, Soma is actually identified as a deity; however, there are various levels of consideration where soma is concerned.

1. Soma, is firstly a plant which may be a species known as ephedra vulgaris to botanists. Its sap is brewed into an intoxicating drink and perhaps this is the strongest of links between the Brave New World and Hindu Mythology. Considered the ambrosia of the gods, it is said that this was what gave the gods immortality. For mortals, this drink caused hallucinations and ecstacy for those who drank it. It is said to have been given to warriors to overcome their fears in battle.

2. Soma is also Inspiration to those who seek it and is considered the God of poets

3. Soma is also the god of the moon, the dwelling place of the dead and a divine cure for evil. As the moon, Soma became equated with the god Chandra, who originally was the moon deity. The moon was considered the cup which held the drink Soma for the gods, and one reason that the moon waxed and waned was due to this fact. When the moon waned, it was because the gods were drinking down all the Soma; as it waxed, the god was re-creating himself, only to be consumed again once the cup was full.

4. There is a reason for this waxing and waning. It has to do with a curse that was pronounced on Soma. Soma had twenty-seven wives (who correspond to the twenty-seven stations of the moon). They were all the daughters of Daksha. Daksha felt that Soma was paying too much attention to one of his daughters, thereby neglecting the rest. He cursed Soma to die a withering death. But Soma’s wives intervened, and so the death became only periodic; during half the month, the moon slowly dies away, but is reborn and comes around again to full vigor.

Much about story telling has to do with taking ideas from the past and applying it to suit your own story. Creating something original, exciting and entertaining all at the same time takes talent and this was exactly what Aldous Huxley seems to have done in Brave New World!

Personal Debt Consolidation Loans Are Key To Your Financial Health

Are you worried about your expenses outgrowing your income because most of you earn is going towards paying different monthly installments? Do you feel stressed, as huge payments are now too much for you? Have you finally decided to take control of the financial mess you are in? It is time now that you opt for personal debt consolidation loans.

Personal debt consolidation loans are especially chalked out for the purpose of paying off all previous debts at once. These loans are generally offered to people having larger debts. On taking this loan all your debts are merged into one monthly payment. The loan does not eliminate your debts but lessens monetary outgo as you avail it on a lower interest rate. The loan helps you clear the debts immediately.

Personal debt consolidation loans come in two forms—secured and unsecured.

Under personal debt consolidation secured loans the borrower has to offer a collateral like home, vehicle or any property to the lender. The collateral assures the lender that his loaned money is secured and in case of non-payment from the borrower, lender can sell the collateral. Because of the collateral, lenders are willing to offer the loan at lower interest rate. One can borrow a greater amount if the collateral is of high value. Lenders generally provide personal debt consolidation secured loans in the range of £5,000 to £75,000.

The borrower can repay this secured loan in 10 to 30 years. It would be wise to keep repayment term short. Longer term may ultimately result in higher interest rate outgo. Personal debt consolidations secured loans are preferred because of their lower interest rate. The borrower should search online for right loan package and lower interest rate.

On the other hand personal debt consolidation unsecured loans do not require any collateral. The loan amount and interest rate under this loan depends on credit score of the borrower. As no collateral is offered to the lender, the loaned amount is usually restricted to £25,000.Tenants and non-homeowners are main customers of this unsecured loan.

Personal debt consolidation loans are available also to borrowers having a bad credit history, which includes arrears, county court judgments and bad debts. Such borrowers will get the loan at higher interest rate because of the risk involved in it.

Credit history, infect, matters much for secured or unsecured personal debt consolidation loans. You should pay off easy debts before asking an agency to update your credit report. Lenders give you scores on the basis of the report. A score of 620 or above is considered good and qualifies you to ask for a lower further lower interest rate.

Surely, personal debt consolidation loans lessen your rising burden of debts as you pay only one monthly payment. The loan should be taken after going through various aspects of the loan including the amount and interest rate.

Goals Require Work and Time Management

Any single goal requires hard work and properly constructed time management schemes to work in harmony in an effort to achieve our dreams. When you are diverting a plan to meet your goal then you need to work a time management solution that runs smoothly and consistently. I am going to include an example of a faulty time management scheme and an over-your-head goal agreement:

According to Business Week Online, filing bankruptcy is going to be harder than ever. Lawyers say that getting your bankruptcies out of the way now can save you headaches later. Statistics show that many people are filing bankruptcy and rushing to the court doors are many more business owners and others. If you this is not your goal, don’t worry, but if you don’t have a time management scheme well-thought out, you might be one of the individuals that was listed in Business Week Online, struggling later to get a bankruptcy in action.

Is this your goal in the next ten years? If not then you had better get to work committing yourself to the requirements (which include hard work and effort on your part) in order to achieve your goals. Time slips from our hands, and if we are not monitoring our time carefully, then time and money is lost forever and there is no turning back. Today, it takes two people to meet a single goal.
