MOBO Winners N-Dubz Set to Storm the USA with a Little Help from Famous Friend Simon Cowell
The MOBO prize winning group already have 2 platinum albums, but they’re now targeting their attention on making more big hits, and moving into a broader market. After winning three MOBO Awards, having both their albums go platinum and collaborating with giant names like Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz have now set their sights on conquering the world next. The group chatted with stv.tv about their achievement so far, the bad P. R. that is trapped them and their hopes for the future. And they said just how proud they’re of what they have already achieved, especially their albums going platinum, something which still appears surreal to them.
Dappy declared : The thing is, as an urban group it is actually hard, it isn’t that straightforward. Folk have done 7 albums in their life and they have not even gone over eighty thousand copiesso it is a much pleasure to be in a group that is so unique, and to sell so many ( records ) . And bandmate Tulisa, who is Dappy’s cousin, has high hopes for what comes next for the band, adding : I suspect the following step is to wreck the world essentially, Europe, America.
N-Dubz have enjoyed gigantic success so far with hits including I Need You, Playing with Fire and Number one. They are preparing to go to America inside the following couple of days, to meet up with middle management at Def Jam Recordings, in an attempt to break the US market.
